It integrates advanced protection features including IGBT desaturation sensing with soft-shutdown and fault feedback, under-voltage lockout (UVLO) with feedback, and active Miller-current clamping. This optocoupler offers fast propagation delay and excellent timing-skew performance, along with high noise immunity and reinforced insulation. Its compact SO-16 surface-mountable package saves space, making it ideal for traction power-train inverters, power converters, battery chargers, and motor drives for air conditioning and oil pumps.
